يدرس هذا المقال إعصار كاترينا (2005) في مسرحية معاصرة، والتي تتميز بكونها تهتم بشكل خاص بالسياقات المكانية والاجتماعية المرتبطة بالأحداث. حيث يتناول المقال كيفية استخدام المراجع، على وجه الخصوص، للوثائق العلمية المهمة لتمثيل الكارثة، ويوضح كيف أن ما يسمى بالكوارث "الطبيعية" لا يمكن فصلها عن الروايات والتمثيلات المقدمة عنها. This paper analyses the representation of the hurricane Katrina (2005) in a contemporary play, which particularity is to focus on social and spatial components related to this event. The paper is a reflexion about the use of documentary sources in this play in order to represent the disaster, and it shows how natural disasters are linked to stories we write and representations we have about them. Cet article explore le traitement réservé à l'ouragan Katrina (2005) dans une pièce de théâtre contemporaine, dont la singularité est d'être particulièrement attentive aux contextes spatiaux et sociaux liés aux événements. L'article interroge la façon dont la pièce recourt notamment à une importante documentation scientifique pour représenter la catastrophe, et montre comment les catastrophes dites "naturelles" sont indissociables des récits et des représentations que l'on porte sur elles. |
