المستخلص: We are proposing a story of Antoine Galland's work of the Thousand and One Nights which is entitled "Noureddine and the beautiful Persian". This tale reveals a first ambivalent image of the Arab-Oriental period of the 8th century where society experienced an unequaled cultural and political predominance. The image of women is considered as a second theme in this story since it traces the journey of the fighting woman who aims to free herself from a dominant male spirit. The tale is woven from a narration that is full of symbolism and metaphor which has favored the attraction of the reader. The story provides in third degree and as a final stage, a satisfying conclusion of love and glory where feminine intelligence and loyalty of the sovereign are combined.

Nous proposons un conte s’intitulant «Noureddine et la belle Persane» des 1001 Nuits d’Antoine Galland. Il dévoile une première image ambivalente de la période arabo-orientale du 8 ème siècle où la société a connu une prépondérance culturelle et politique sans égal. L’image de la femme est considérée comme second thème dans ce récit puisqu’elle retrace le parcours de la femme combattante qui vise à se délivrer d’un esprit masculin dominant. Le conte est tissé d’une narration qui regorge de symbolisme et de métaphore ce qui lui a favorisé l’attirance du lecteur. Le récit fournit en troisième degré et comme stade final, une conclusion satisfaisante d’amour et de gloire où se combinent intelligence féminine et loyauté du souverain.
