|a تسعى هذه الدراسة لتسليط الضوء على الكيفية التي تحولت بها مدينة الرباط من مجال أكثر جاذبية للعيش والاستقرار لدى الإنسان المعاصر، إلى مختبر للتعبير عن السخط الاجتماعي والشعور العارم بالتذمر والإحباط الجماعي، وذلك عبر اتجاه منهجي كيفي ومقاربة نظرية سوسيولوجية متعددة المداخل بغاية الإحاطة بالموضوع قدر الإمكان من زوايا متعددة، وقد أبرزت نتائج الدراسة أن مدينة الرباط ليست وجهة استراتيجية وقبلة يحج إليها المحتجون من مختلف مناطق المغرب لرفع مظالمهم فحسب، بل هي أيضا فضاء منتجا للمقاومة ضد التهميش من داخل أحيائها الصفيحية والمطالبة بالحق في المدينة.
|b This study aims to discuss how Rabat, Morocco, has been transformed from an "attractive city" of "stable living" into a social laboratory of expressions of discontent and disappointment. Methodologically, the study is based on a qualitative approach grounded on a theoretical framework that gives credit to social expressions of the margin and the internal dynamics of the city. The findings illustrate that the city of Rabat is not merely a strategic and symbolic destination for protesters from the twelve regions of the kingdom to demand their rights. The Moroccan capital is a productive city for resistance from within its slums to demand the right to the city. Therefore, the study shows how Rabat is a city characterized by a long history of resistance against marginalization. The city offers an insight into how the image of the city is in a vibrant process of (re)definition.
