The emergence of cyberterrorism as a new form of transnational international terrorism has led to the rise of new types of crimes committed by criminal groups or individuals in the digital space. These include hacking websites and infiltrating sensitive national information systems with the intent to disrupt, alter, or destroy data. This has driven the international community to seek effective legal and institutional mechanisms To stop these escalating threats. |
