The objective of this article is to examine the role of the Algerian state in the support and accompaniment of small and medium-sized enterprises through the policy of economic reform, represented in public spending and GDP. To this end, we conducted an econometric study targeting the period between (2003-2019) based on semi-annual data and using the ARDL model, which confirmed the existence of a co integration between the variables of the model and that the growth of small and medium enterprises in Algeria is affected by the variable of public expenditures by a positive relationship, and inversely relationship by GDP in the long-term. L'objectif de cet article est d’examiner le rôle de l'Etat algérien dans le soutien et l'accompagnement des petites et moyennes entreprises à travers la politique de réforme économique, cette dernière est représentée dans notre étude par les dépenses publiques et le produit intérieur brut. A cet effet, nous avons mené une étude économétrique visant la période entre (2003-2019) à partir des données semestrielles en utilisant le modèle ARDL, qui nous a confirmé l'existence d’une cointégration entre les variables du modèle, et que la croissance des PME en Algérie est affectée positivement par les dépenses publiques et négativement par le PIB à long terme. |
