| 520 | |b Utilizing Edward Said’s contrapuntal analysis approach, the article seeks to demystify the ''univocal'' French narrative about the Franco-Algerian relations during and after the Algerian war of independence. Most importantly, the article scrutinizes President Macron declaration on the death of Maurice Audin to demonstrate the unidirectional French historical narrative that assertively excludes any alternative or pluralized perspective to the Franco-Algerian history. It, thus, reveals that the French univocal historical narrative is inherently insufficient to convey the thorough truth. |d En utilisant l’approche d’analyse en contrepoint d’Edward Said, l’article cherche à démystifier le discours «univoque» français sur les relations franco-algériennes pendant et après la guerre d’indépendance algérienne. Plus précisément, l’article décortique la déclaration du président Macron sur la mort de Maurice Audin pour démontrer que le discours historique français reste résolument unidirectionnel en excluant catégoriquement toute perspective alternative ou pluralisée de l’histoire franco-algérienne. | ||
