المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على أسباب ضعف التلاميذ في مادة الرياضيات في مرحلة التعليم الأساسي من وجهة نظر معلمات مادة الرياضيات في المدارس الحكومية والخاصة بمدينة البيضاء، ومعرفة مدى تأثره بالخبرة والمؤهل العلمي نوع التعليم (تعليم خاص - تعليم حكومي). وقد بلغ حجم عينة الدراسة (156) معلمة، وقد استخدمت الباحثة مقياس من إعدادها لقياس أسباب ضعف التلاميذ في مادة الرياضيات وتكون من (16) فقرة، وأظهرت النتائج: عدم انتباه التلميذ أثناء الشرح وانشغاله من الأسباب التي أدت إلى ضعفه في مادة الرياضيات، وكذلك ارتفاع كثافة التلاميذ داخل الفصل الواحد، واعتماد التلاميذ على الحفظ وتأثره بآراء الآخرين، وعدم مراعاة الفروق الفردية بين التلاميذ أدت إلى ضعف التلاميذ في مادة الرياضيات. توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين درجات أسباب ضعف التلاميذ في مادة الرياضيات تبعاً لمتغير نوع التعليم (حكومي - خاص) والمرحلة. توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين درجات أسباب ضعف التلاميذ في مادة الرياضيات تبعاً المتغير الخبرة.

The current study aimed to identify the reasons for students' weakness in mathematics in the basic education stage from the point of view of mathematics teachers in public and private schools in the city of Al-Bayda and to know the extent to which it is affected by experience, educational qualification, and type of education. The sample size of the study was (156) female teachers from the primary and preparatory stages in private and governmental schools in the city of Al-Bayda. The study reached the following results: The lack of attention of the student during the explanation and his preoccupation are among the reasons that led to the student's weakness in mathematics, as well as the high density of students within the same class, and the students' dependence on memorization and being influenced by the opinions of others, and the failure to take into account individual differences among students led to students' weakness in mathematics. There are statistically significant differences between the degrees of the reasons for students' weakness in mathematics, according to the variable of education type.
