المستخلص: لقد أبدت مصر في تاريخها الحديث والمعاصر اهتمامًا ظاهرا بالمنظمات الدولية والإقليمية، إيمانا منها بأهمية التعاون الدولي والإقليمي، وتعزيزًا للعمل الجماعي في رعاية المصالح المشتركة بين دول العالم، وتحقيق التطلعات البشرية في السلم والأمن والتنمية. وفي ضوء هذه العقيدة الراسخة قامت سياسة مصر الخارجية على أساس الحرص على الانضمام إلى المنظمات الدولية، والالتزام بعهودها ومواثيقها، والإسهام في نفقاتها وأعبائها المالية، بما يكفل تحقيق أهدافها في إطار من المشاركة والفاعلية. ومن هذا المنطلق جاءت فكرة دراسة «نصيب مصر في نفقات عصبة الأمم (١٩٣٧- ١٩٤٦م) ، في محاولة لتحديد حجم الإسهامات المصرية في ميزانية عصبة الأمم. وتضمن هذا البحث: مقدمة، وتمهيد، وثلاثة محاور، وخاتمة، ثم قائمة بالمصادر والمراجع، تناول التمهيد نشأة وتكوين عصبة الأمم عام ۱۹۲۰م، وانضمام مصر إليها عام ۱۹۳۷م، وتناول المحور الأول: تقدير نصيب مصر في نفقات العصبة وتسديده ۱۹۳۷- ۱۹۳۹م، واختص المحور الثاني بمحاولات تخفيض اشتراك مصر في عصبة الأمم. وتناول المحور الثالث: مسألة متأخرات مصر في نفقات العصبة ١٩٤٠- ١٩٤٦م.

Throughout its modern and contemporary history, Egypt has shown a clear interest in international and regional organizations, believing in the importance of international and regional cooperation, and enhancing collective action in caring for common interests among the countries of the world, and achieving human aspirations for peace, security and development. In light of this firm belief, Egypt's foreign policy was based on keenness to join international organizations, abide by their covenants and charters, and contribute to their expenses and financial burdens, in a way that ensures the achievement of their goals within a framework of participation and effectiveness. From this standpoint came the idea of studying "Egypt's share in the expenses of the League of Nations 1937-1946 AD", in an attempt to determine the size of Egypt's contributions to the League of Nations budget. This research includes: an introduction, a preface, three axes, a conclusion, and a list of sources and references. The preface dealt with: the emergence and formation of the League of Nations in 1920 AD, and Egypt’s accession to it in 1937 AD. The first axis dealt with: estimating Egypt’s share in the League’s expenses and paying it 1937-1939 AD. The second axis dealt with attempts to reduce Egypt’s participation in the League of Nations. The third axis dealt with: the issue of Egypt’s arrears in the League’s expenses 1940-1946 AD.
