المستخلص: Tunisia, like the rest of the countries of Africa, has known the phenomenon of slavery since ancient times, and slavery was brought from sub-Saharan Africa through commercial caravans, but the phenomenon of slavery in Tunisia during the 19th century AD took a new turn due to the reforms that Tunisia witnessed, where slavery was abolished during the reign of Ahmed Bey due to external repercussions and internal reasons, so we will address this topic to know the conditions of slavery and search for the causes and consequences of its abolition.
