Studies suggest that effective governance leads to fair resource distribution, transparency, and accountability, which are key to societal stability and economic growth despite challenges Libya has faced since 2011. The research problem aims to explore whether local administration and governance can effectively promote community peace in a country marked by political, tribal, and social complexities. It also seeks to understand their role in balancing tribal heritage with democracy and addressing the challenges of applying local governance in Libya.
