المستخلص: يقول برتراند راسل: "من الصحي بين الحين والآخر أن نعيد النظر فيما نعتبره مسلمات وبديهيات لا تقبل النقاش". وهو ما سنفعله في هذه الورقة البحثية مع مسلمة معمرة بعمر علم الاقتصاد، لا يلتفت إليها إطلاقا، وهي علاقة الاستثمار بالفائدة. فهل الاستثمار فعلا دالة في الفائدة كما يقول علماء الاقتصاد؟ أم الاستثمار دالة في الاستهلاك كما هو تعريف الاستثمار عند علماء الاقتصاد أنفسهم؟ واضح جدا التناقض الذي وقع فيه الاقتصاديون طيلة عقود كثيرة من عمر علم الاقتصاد.

Bertrand Russell says: It is healthy from time to time to reconsider what we consider axioms uncontroversial. This is what we will do in this research paper with a long-standing axiom of the age of economics that does not pay attention to it at all, namely, the relationship of investment to interest. Is investment really a function of interest, as economists say, or investment is a function of consumption as is the definition of investment when economists themselves are very clear the contradiction in which Economists for many decades of the age of economics.

Bertrand Russell dit: «Il est sain de reconsidérer de temps en temps ce que nous considérons comme des axiomes et des axiomes qui ne sont pas sujets à discussion». C’est ce que nous ferons dans ce document de recherche avec un axiome de longue date de l’économie, auquel on ne prête aucune attention, qui est le rapport entre l’investissement et l’intérêt. L’investissement est-il réellement fonction des intérêts, comme le disent les économistes? Ou bien l’investissement est-il fonction de la consommation, comme l’est la définition de l’investissement par les économistes eux- mêmes? La contradiction dans laquelle les économistes sont tombés tout au long des nombreuses décennies de la vie économique est très claire.
