This study aimed to examine the impact of telemedicine technology on public health services delivery, including its benefits, opportunities, and efforts to improve healthcare delivery. The study addresses the challenges that hinder the progress and development of this technology and presents international experiences in its implementation in both Saudi Arabia and India. Additionally, the study highlights the steps and measures taken by Algeria to activate this technology. The study concluded that telemedicine has improved public health services in India and Saudi Arabia by bridging the rural-urban health divide and addressing significant manpower shortages in the public health sector. |
