|a يمثل البحر الأحمر أهمية كبيرة بالنسبة لحركة التجارة الدولية وسلاسل الإمداد العالمية؛ بسبب وقوع قناة السويس في طرفه الشمالي، ومن ثم يؤثر استمرار الاضطرابات في منطقة البحر الأحمر على استقرار سلاسل الإمداد العالمية، خاصة في ظل تأثير تلك الاضطرابات على حركة الشحن عبر قناة السويس. وبشكل عام، تمتلك مصر أمثلة ناجحة لسلاسل الإمداد في العديد من القطاعات مثل قطاع الزراعة والصناعات الغذائية، وقطاع الأدوية، وقطاع المنسوجات، وقطاعي التعدين والطاقة. وفي هذا السياق، تسعى الدراسة إلى تحليل أثر التحديات الجيوسياسية على فرص مصر في التحول إلى مركز إقليمي لسلاسل الإمداد العالمية، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، كما أجرت الدراسة التحليل الرباعي SWOT Analysis؛ لتحديد نقاط القوة والضعف، وكذلك الفرص والتحديات الكامنة التي تواجه هذا التحول. وخلصت الدراسة إلى ضرورة تبني الحكومة المصرية لاستراتيجية وطنية واضحة تهدف إلى تحويل مصر إلى مركز إقليمي لسلاسل الإمداد العالمية على المدى الطويل.
|b The Red Sea represents great importance for global trade and global supply chains, since Suez Canal is being located at its northern end, so the disruptions in the region affects the stability of global supply chains, especially in light of it’s impact on the movement of shipping through the Suez Canal. However, Egypt has many success stories in supply chains in many sectors, such as the agriculture and food industry, pharmaceutical industry, textile and apparel industry, mining industry and energy sector. In this respect, the study analyzed the geopolitical challenges that face Egypt’s chances of becoming a regional center for global supply chains. The study adopted descriptive-analytical approach, and it also conducted a SWOT analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses, as well as the opportunities and challenges that facing Egypt’s transformation into a regional center for global supply chains. The study concluded that the Egyptian government should adopt a clear national strategy to achieve this transforming in the long term.
