|a تعتبر الدراسات الاستشراقية من أهم الأطر الفكرية التي شكلت المفهوم الغربي نحو الإسلام، ولقد اتسمت هذه الدراسات بتعدد موضوعاتها وتنوع قضاياها من بين هذا التعدد ظهر الاهتمام الاستشراقي بدراسة الفرق الإسلامية مثل المعتزلة والشيعة والخوارج، مقابل اهتمام قليل، وتناول بسيط لأهل السنة من هنا جاء الاهتمام ببحث (الدراسات الاستشراقية حول أهل السنة: عرض ونقد) من خلال استعراض مفهوم أهل السنة في الفكر الاستشراقي ونقد هذه الأفكار من خلال مسارين: 1- أساليب البحث الممنهجة في الدراسات الاستشراقية حول أهل السنة. ٢- نقد الأفكار العامة للاستشراق حول أهل السنة من خلال السياق الديني، والتاريخي لهذا المفهوم ومن خلال علماء أهل السنة أنفسهم وأئمتها الأوائل.
|b Oriental studies are considered one of the most important intellectual frameworks that formed the Western concept of Islam. These studies were characterized by the multiplicity of their topics and the diversity of their issues. Among this multiplicity emerged the Orientalist interest in studying the Islamic sects such as the Mu'tazila, the Shiites and the Kharijites, in exchange for little interest and a simple treatment of the Sunnis From here came the interest in researching {Oriental Studies on Ahl al-Sunnah: Exposition and Criticism} by reviewing the concept of Ahl al-Sunnah in Orientalist thought and criticizing these ideas through two tracks. 1- Methods of systematic research in oriental studies on the Sunnis 2- Criticizing the general ideas of Orientalism about the Sunnis through the religious and historical context of this concept and through the Sunni scholars themselves and their early imams.
