المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى بيان أثر معنى الحدث في كتاب سيبويه على المعاني الوظيفية والقضايا التركيبية، وكذلك بيان دوره في الكشف عن الوظائف النحوية للكلمات، إذ إن كثيرا ما ينسب إلى سيبويه اعتماده على نظرية العامل المختزلة في معنى الفعل الصوري عند تفسيره للعلاقات النحوية بين الفعل ومكوناته الأولية في الجملة، واقتصاره على نظرية التأثر والتأثير، بكون الفعل مؤثرا وبقية الكلمات متأثرة، دون التنبيه إلى عنايته الدقيقة بتفسير معنى حدثه وما يتضمنه من سمات دلالية ذات أثر كبير في تحديد دوره الوظيفي في اختيار موضوعاته واستنباط معانيه الوظيفية ومصطلحاته النحوية، وما إلى ذلك مما له صلة بالحدث. وقد اتبع الباحث في دراسته المنهج الاستقرائي والتحليلي والاستنباطي في تتبع مفهوم الحدث في كتاب سيبويه، وجمع الموضوعات النحوية والظواهر اللغوية التي انعقدت مباحثها عليه، محللا ومفسرا لها، ومستنبطا المعاني الوظيفية التي انبثقت من أحداثها، وقد اشتمل البحث على مقدمة توضح إشكالية البحث وأهميته وأهدافه ومنهجه، والدراسات السابقة، واشتمل على أربعة مباحث موزعة على النحو الآتي: المبحث الأول بعنوان مفهوم الحدث عند سيبويه واللسانيين، والمبحث الثاني بعنوان المعاني الوظيفية للحدث، تلاهما المبحث الثالث بعنوان القضايا النحوية المتعلقة بالحدث، ثم المبحث الرابع بعنوان القضايا المعجمية للحدث وأثرها النحوي. وتبرز أهمية هذا البحث في استجلاء مفهوم الحدث عند سيبويه بوصفه ظاهرة تفسيرية مهمة لتفسير كثير من الظواهر التي تنتمي إلى مستويات مختلفة نحوية ومعجمية وتركيبية.

This research papers aims to show the impact of the meaning of action in Sibawayh’s book on functional meanings and syntactic issues, as well as to show its role in revealing the grammatical functions of words, as it is often attributed to Sibawayh relying on the theory of the reducing factor in the meaning of the formal action when interpreting the grammatical relationships between the action and its initial components in the sentence, and limited to the theory of influence, being influential and the rest of the words affected. He paid careful attention to the interpretation of the meaning of action and the semantic features it contains that have a great impact on determining its functional role in choosing its topics and deducing its functional meanings, grammatical terms, etc. The researcher has followed in his study the inductive, analytical, and deductive approach in tracking the concept of action in Sibawayh›s book, and the collection of grammatical topics and linguistic phenomena that held its investigations, analyzing and interpreting them, and deriving the functional meanings that emerged from their actions. The paper includes an introduction that illustrates the problem of research, its importance, objectives, methodology, and previous studies. It includes four sections distributed as follows: the first section entitled the concept of action for Sibawayh and linguists, and the second section entitled functional meanings of action, followed by the third section entitled grammatical issues related to action, and then the fourth section entitled lexical issues of the action and its grammatical impact. The importance of this study is highlighted in clarifying the concept of action for Sibawayh is an important explanatory phenomenon to explain many phenomena that belong to different grammatical, lexical, and syntactic levels.
