المستخلص: تناول البحث بيان مسألة النسيان في حق الرسول (صلى الله عليه وسلم)، فأوضح البحث أن النسيان في حق الرسول (صلى الله عليه وسلم) يجوز في الأمور التي ليس لها تعلق بالتبليغ، ولا يقدح في عصمة الأنبياء والرسل ولا أمانتهم، وفرق البحث بين النسيان للحكم الشرعي والنسيان في الحكم الشرعي؛ إذ إن نسيان الحكم الشرعي يؤثر في صفة التبليغ في حق الرسول (عليه الصلاة والسلام)؛ بخلاف النسيان في الحكم الشرعي.

Forgetting in the case of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is permissible in matters that have nothing to do with conveying the message, and it does not undermine the infallibility of the prophets and messengers or their trustworthiness. The difference in the discussion is between forgetting a legal ruling and forgetting a legal ruling, as forgetting a legal ruling affects the nature of conveying it in the case of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), unlike forgetting a legal ruling. The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) does not forget anything from the Qur’an before conveying it, so if he conveys it and the people receive it and memorize it, it is permissible for him to forget from the aspect of memorization, not from the aspect of conveying it, because he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is infallible from forgetting in conveying it, just as it is permissible for him to forget what Allah the Almighty abrogates from the verses.
