The Algerian Council of State is an administrative judicial authority, entrusted with jurisdiction and evaluation under the Constitutional Amendment 20-442 and the organisational texts issued accordingly. However, the original jurisdiction of the Council of State, despite the recent amendment to the Code of Civil and Administrative Procedures, the "casation appeal" remains relatively amputated, due to judicial duplication (appeal- cassation) , which is contrary to the principle of litigation on two degrees stipulated constitutionally. |
