المستخلص: ما زال الدرس اللغوي يكشف عَنْ ثراء فكر النحويين الأوائل، ولا يخفى على أحدٍ ما لكتاب سيبويه من أهمية واضحة وضوح الشمس في النهار، وتُعدُّ نظرية الأصول والفروع الحقيقة الأولى التي بذل النحويون العرب جهدهم في وضعها بعد إخضاع المادة اللغوية للاستقراء، والاستنباط، والتصنيف، فاهتدوا إلى القواعد الكلية وما كان أصلاً ولَّد فرعا، وليست نظرية القياس أو نظرية العامل إلا توابع من نظرية الأصل والفرع. وقد لفت نظري ربط سيبويه بين بعض الأبواب المتباعدة مكانا في الكتاب بعلاقة القياس وخاصة قياس الشبه، فيربط بين تلك الأبواب في الحكم النحوي. فجاء هذا البحث الموسوم بـ: العَوَامِلُ فِي النَّكِرَاتِ فِي كِتَابِ سِيبويه فِي ضَوْءِ نَظَرِيَّةِ الْأُصُولِ والفُرُوعِ ومن أسباب اختياري لهذا الموضوع: 1) لم أعثر على دراسة سابقة تناولت "العوامل فِي النَّكِرَاتِ فِي كِتَابِ سِيبَوِيهِ فِي ضَوْءِ نَظَرِيَّةِ الأصول والفروع". ۲) إبراز فكر سيبويه من خلال تناوله للعوامل في النكرات في ضوء نظرية الأصول والفروع. 3) الكشف عن القياس والعِلل النحوية التي أقام عليها سيبويه الربط بين العوامل في النكرات. ومن المأمول أن يحاول البحث الإجابة عن التساؤلات الآتية: 1) ما موقف سيبويه من نظرية العامل، والأصول والفروع؟ 2) ما العوامل في النكرات عند سيبويه؟ 3) ما أنواع هذه العوامل؟ ٤) هل عوامل النكرات في كتاب سيبويه مجموعة في باب واحد؟ ٥) ما حلقة الوصل التي بنى عليها سيبويه الربط بين هذه العوامل في كتابه؟ ٦) كيف ربط سيبويه بين العوامل في النكرات في ضوء نظرية الأصول والفروع؟ وقد اقتضت طبيعة الدراسة اعتماد المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي.

The field of linguistic study still reveals the rich thought of the early grammarians. The indisputable significance of Sibawayh’s work is as conspicuous as the daylight. The theory of origins and branches is considered the primary truthful foundation which Arab grammarians exerted their efforts to develop after subjecting linguistic material to scrutiny, induction, deduction, and classification. They reached the general principles and the origin aspects generated branch aspects. The theories of analogy or the factor theory are nothing but derivatives of the theory of origins and branches. The theoretical approach of Sibawayh has caught my attention due to his linkage between certain distinct sections in the book, establishing a correlation by the use of the concept of analogy, particularly the analogy of similarity. He used to connect these sections by virtue of the syntactic rule. The present research is entitled: Factors in Indefinite Words in Sibawayh’s Book in the Light of the Theory of Origins and Branches Among the reasons I chose this topic: 1. I have not found a previous study that deals with ‘factors in the indefinite words in Sibawayh’s book in the light of the theory of origins and branches’. 2. To highlight Sibawayh’s thought through his treatment of the factors in the indefinite words in the light of the theory of origins and branches. 3. To reveal the analogy and grammatical reasons upon which Sibawayh established the connection between the factors in the indefinite words. It is hoped that the research will answer the following questions: 1. What is Sibawayh’s position regarding the theory of factor, origins and branches? 2. What are the factors in the indefinite words according to Sibawayh? 3. What are the types of these factors? 4. Are the factors of indefinite words collected in one chapter in Sibawayh’s book? 5. What is the link on which Sibawayh built the connectivity between these factors in his book? 6. How did Sibawayh link the factors in indefinite words in the light of the theory of origins and branches? The nature of the study necessitated the adoption of the inductive and analytical approach.
