المستخلص: تعد الحمية والعصبية الجاهلية من السمات الملازمة للفرد والقبيلة ولاسيما في المجتمع العربي قبل البعثة النبوية الشريفة، ذلك المجتمع القائم على الروح العصبية وغلبة الأنفة والاعتداد بالنفس، ورفض الهيمنة لأي قوة تحد من حريتهم أو تضع لهم قوانين خلاف ما ألفوا، مهما كانت هذه القوة كبيرة، والارتباط الكبير برابطة الدم والانتماء إلى القبيلة والذود عنها، وبذل النفس في سبيل سلامتها وعزتها، وحينما جاء الإسلام، عمل على جعل آصرة العقيدة لها المقام والولاء الأول، وإحلالها محل سلطة القبيلة، في حال تعارض منهجيهما، ومع جهود النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله) في ترسيخ هذا السلوك في المجتمع المسلم إلا أنه لم يقض بشكل كامل على تلك الروح الجاهلية، فكانت تظهر بين وقت وآخر في سلوك الفرد أو المجتمع، نتيجة لمواقف آنية عفوية، أو بشكل مفتعل، كمؤامرات رؤوس المنافقين أو مكائد اليهود، وبتحريض من زعماء قريش لوجود مصالح مشتركة جمعت بينهم، الهدف منها هو إحداث شرخ بين المسلمين، وإضعافهم، بعد أن لم يتسن لهم ذلك عن طريق تسيير الجيوش التي فشلت في تحقيق هذا الهدف، وقد بذل النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله) جهودا جبارة للقضاء عليها ومعالجتها كلما ظهرت منها بادرة في سلوك الفرد المجتمع المسلم، فهي مدعاة للفرقة والتنازع الذي يهدد روح الإسلام ووحدة وقوة دولة الإسلام الناشئة.

Pre-Islamic fanaticism and fanaticism are among the inherent characteristics of the individual and the tribe, especially in the Arab society before the honorable prophetic mission, that society based on the nervous spirit, the dominance of selfishness and selfesteem, and the rejection of domination by any force that limits their freedom or sets for them laws other than what they are accustomed to, no matter how great this force is. The great connection to the bond of blood, belonging to the tribe and defending it, and sacrificing oneself for its safety and pride. When Islam came, it worked to make the bond of faith have the first place and loyalty, and to replace the authority of the tribe, in the event that their approaches conflicted, and despite the efforts of the Prophet (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) to establish this behavior in Muslim society, he did not completely eliminate that ignorant spirit. It appeared from time to time in the behavior of the individual or society, as a result of spontaneous or contrived situations, such as the conspiracies of the leaders of the hypocrites or the machinations of the Jews, and at the instigation of the leaders of the Quraysh due to the existence of common interests that brought them together. Its goal is to create a rift among Muslims and weaken them, after they were not able to do that by operating armies that failed to achieve this goal. The Prophet (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) made tremendous efforts to eliminate it and treat it whenever a sign of it appeared in the behavior of the individual in the Muslim community. It is a cause for division and conflict that threatens the spirit of Islam and the unity and strength of the emerging Islamic state.
