المستخلص: تهدف هذه الصفحات إلى تسليط الضوء على موضوع فضاء المدينة ضمن الفضاء الروائي الجزائري، مع التركيز على كيفية تمثيل المدينة في الرواية الجزائرية. لا تهدف الدراسة إلى تناول جميع مظاهر المدينة سواء من الداخل أو من الخارج، بل تسعى إلى إبراز المدينة كإنجاز إنساني متراكم، غني بالدلالات على عدة مستويات معرفية ورمزية. تتخصص هذه الدراسة بشكل خاص في تحليل التفاعل بين فضاء المدينة والعوالم الإبداعية للرواية الجزائرية، بهدف استكشاف مكانة المدينة في الفضاء الروائي الجزائري. كما تسعى إلى دراسة مدى اهتمام الروائيين الجزائريين برسم ملامح مدينتهم وتحليل الأبعاد الدلالية التي تطبع وصفهم للهندسة المعمارية للمدينة في نصوصهم السردية.

These pages aim to shed light on the theme of urban space within Algerian fiction, focusing particularly on how the city is depicted in Algerian novels. The goal is not to cover all its manifestations, both internal and external, but rather to highlight the city as a human achievement-an ever-evolving space rich with various meanings across multiple cognitive and symbolic levels. This study is more specifically concerned with the interactions between urban space and the creative worlds of Algerian writers, examining the place of the city within Algerian fictional space. It also aims to explore the extent of the Algerian novelists’ attention to portraying their city, and to analyze the semantic dimensions that shape the depiction of urban architecture in their narrative works.

Ces pages se proposent d’éclairer le thème de l’espace urbain dans la littérature algérienne, en s’intéressant particulièrement à la manière dont la ville est représentée dans le roman algérien. L’objectif n’est pas de couvrir toutes les facettes de la ville, ni dans sa dimension interne ni externe, mais plutôt de souligner la ville comme un produit humain, un espace en constante évolution, riche en significations sur divers plans cognitifs et symboliques. Cette étude s’intéresse plus spécifiquement aux interactions entre l’espace urbain et les univers créatifs des écrivains algériens, afin d’examiner la place de la ville dans l’espace romanesque algérien. Il s’agit également d’analyser l’attention portée par les romanciers à la description de leur ville, en explorant les dimensions sémantiques qui marquent l’architecture urbaine dans leurs oeuvres narratives.
