المستخلص: تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى استجلاء جانب من الاستشكالات الثقافية التي تناولتها رواية «حليب المارينز» للكاتب العراقي علي عواد. ترصد هذه الرواية العلاقة بين «الأنا» العراقي و «الآخر» الأمريكي، في أعقاب الأحداث التي تزامنت مع الاحتلال الأمريكي للعراق في بداية الألفية الثانية، وما صاحب ذلك من مشكلات إنسانية كانت قد بدأت تظهر بوضوح. من خلال هذا المقال البحثي، هدفنا إلى التعمق في القضايا المرتبطة بالمجتمع العراقي الذي تعرض للتفكك والإحباط وفقدان الأمل نتيجة العدوان الأمريكي، ما أدى إلى تبخر الحلم العراقي وتحوله إلى كابوس. لقد اعتمدنا في ذلك على منهج النقد الثقافي المقارن كأداة لتفكيك الخطاب وتحليل الانساق الثقافية المضمرة فيه.

This study seeks to shed light on an aspect of the cultural issues addressed by the novel «Marines' Milk» by Iraqi writer Ali Awwad. The novel explores the relationship between the Iraqi «self» and the American «other», set against the backdrop of the events surrounding the American invasion of Iraq in the early 2000s and the humanitarian problems that emerged as a result. Through this research article, we aimed to delve into the issues concerning Iraqi society, which was shattered, disillusioned, and deprived of hope following the American aggression. This led to the evaporation of the Iraqi dream, transforming it into a nightmare. We relied on the methodology of comparative cultural criticism, which enables us to deconstruct the discourse and analyze the implicit cultural patterns within it.

Cette étude vise à éclairer un aspect des problématiques culturelles abordées par le roman «Hîlib al-Marinez» de l’écrivain irakien Ali Awwad. Ce roman met en lumière la relation entre «l’ego» irakien et «l’autre» américain, dans le contexte des événements liés à l’occupation américaine de l’Irak au début des années 2000, ainsi que les problèmes humanitaires qui en ont découlé. À travers cet article de recherche, notre objectif a été d’explorer ces questions liées à une société irakienne déchirée, déçue et privée d’espoir, à la suite de l’agression américaine. Cette situation a provoqué la disparition du rêve irakien, qui s’est transformé en un véritable cauchemar. Nous avons utilisé la méthode de la critique culturelle comparée, qui nous permet de déconstruire le discours et d’analyser les schémas culturels implicites présents dans le texte.
