المستخلص: تستند الدراسة الحالية في أهدافها إلى التعرف على المنطلقات الفكرية والنظرية للتنمية المستدامة وأهدافها، ودور التعليم في تعزيزها، ومحددات المنظور الإسلامي لمبادئها، كمفهوم متأصل في الإسلام، وفق دلائل من القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية، وذلك في إطار محاورها الثلاث الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبيئية. ولتنامي الاهتمام بالتعليم كوسيلة حاسمة لتحقيق الاستدامة؛ أطلقت الأمم المتحدة "عقد التعليم من أجل التنمية المستدامة" في عام ۲۰۰٥م، بهدف دمج مبادئ وقيم وممارسات التنمية في جميع جوانب التعليم والتعلم من أجل تشجيع السلوك الذي من شأنه تحقيق مستقبل يعزز من الاستدامة والعدل للأجيال الحالية والمقبلة. وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي، حيث تناولت بالرصد والتحليل مفهوم التنمية المستدامة وأهدافها مع توضيح خصائصها وإبراز جوانبها من منظور تربوي إسلامي. وخلصت الدراسة إلى بعض النتائج التي من أهمها: أن التربية وفق المنظور الإسلامي هي من أهم المرتكزات التنموية لجميع المجتمعات؛ كما يتسم النظام التربوي الإسلامي بالمرونة والمواءمة مع كافة أنواع التغيرات والمستجدات المجتمعية والعالمية. كما عرضت الدراسة بعض الإجراءات المقترحة في سياق الأبعاد الأربعة للتنمية وهي: البعد البيئي والتربوي والاجتماعي والاقتصادي.

The current study aims to identify the intellectual and theoretical foundations of sustainable development and its goals, the role of education in promoting it, and the determinants of the Islamic perspective on sustainable development and its principles, as a concept rooted in Islam, according to evidence from the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, within the framework of its three economic, social and environmental axes. Due to the growing interest in education as a critical means of achieving sustainability, the United Nations launched the “Decade of Education for Sustainable Development” in 2005, with the aim of integrating the principles, values of sustainability into all aspects of teaching and learning to achieve a more sustainable future and environmental awareness for current and future generations. The study depended upon the descriptive method, as it dealt with monitoring and analysis of the concept of sustainable development and its goals, while clarifying its characteristics and highlighting its aspects from an Islamic educational perspective. The study concluded with some results, the most important of which are: that education according to the Islamic perspective is one of the most important developmental foundations for all societies; and that the Islamic educational system is characterized by flexibility and compatibility with all types of societal and global changes and developments. The study also presented some proposed measures in the context of the four dimensions of development: the environmental, educational, social and economic dimensions.
