المستخلص: في الجزائر انخرطت كوبا لأول مرة في الشؤون الأفريقية. حتى الإطاحة بالرئيس بن بلة في 19 يونيو 1965، حافظت الجزائر على علاقات ودية وثيقة للغاية مع كوبا والدول الأفريقية. لم تقدم كوبا المساعدة العسكرية والمادية والاقتصادية والبشرية في أصعب الظروف التاريخية في تاريخ الجزائر فحسب، بل قدمت أيضا إلى جيش التحرير الوطني. وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقديم تقييم موجز للعلاقات بين البلدين في السنوات 1962-1965 من أجل فهم نوع العلاقات التي حافظت عليها كوبا مع أفريقيا بشكل عام والجزائر بشكل خاص خلال العقود الأربعة الماضية. وتعكس هذه العلاقات تأثير الثورة الكوبية وتأثيرها في السياق الوطني والدولي.

Cuba’s first involvement in African affairs was in Algeria. Until the overthrow of President Ben Bella on 19 June 1965, Algeria maintained very close friendly relations with Cuba and African countries. Cuba provided not only military, material, economic and human aid in the most difficult historical circumstances in the history of Algeria, but also to the national liberation army ALN. The purpose of this study is to present a brief assessment of the relationship between Cuba and Algeria in the years 1962-1965 to understand the type of relationship that Cuba has had with Africa en general and Algeria en particular for the past four decades. It is a relationship which reflects the striking image of the Cuban Revolution in the national and international context.

C’est en Algérie que Cuba s’est impliqué pour la première fois dans les affaires africaines. Jusqu’au renversement du président Ben Bella le 19 juin 1965, l’Algérie a entretenu des relations amicales très étroites avec Cuba et les pays africains. Cuba a fourni non seulement une aide militaire, matérielle, économique et humaine dans les circonstances historiques les plus difficiles de l’histoire de l’Algérie, mais aussi à l’armée de libération nationale (ALN). L’objectif de cette étude est de présenter une brève évaluation des relations entre les deux pays dans les années 1962-1965 pour comprendre le type de relations que Cuba entretient avec l’Afrique en générale et l’Algérie particulièrement depuis quatre décennies,. Ces relations reflètent l’impact et l’influence de la révolution cubaine dans le contexte national et international.
