This research embarks on an exploratory journey highlighting the role and duties of the market maker within the scope of the Saudi financial market, illustrating the significance of this focal point in enhancing the stability and efficiency of financial markets. The study follows a deep analytical methodology to understand the factors affecting the performance of market makers and their role in facilitating liquidity flow and enhancing market efficiency. Under the contemplations of the adopted methodology, the research is divided into several main sections that include the theoretical framework that defines the market maker and its importance, analysis of the economic, political, and monetary impact on its role, and a review of a set of current studies that highlight practical applications of market makers in the Saudi context. This division paves the way for a comprehensive and focused understanding of how current economic conditions affect the markets and highlights the institutional mechanisms that ensure the effectiveness of the market maker in achieving its goals. Through data analysis and current studies, the research reveals a set of important findings that confirm the vital role played by the market maker in achieving liquidity and supporting market efficiency, in addition to identifying the challenges and future opportunities in this field. Based on these findings, the research presents constructive recommendations aimed at enhancing the role and performance of the market maker, emphasizing the importance of developing the regulatory and supervisory framework to support their effectiveness and contribution to the sustainability of the Saudi financial market.
