تناولت الدراسة مفهوم العدالة الانتقالية كمصطلح لتحقيق الاستقرار والمساءلة والسلم لمجتمعات ما بعد النزاعات، تمثلت مشكلة الدراسة في أن مفهوم العدالة الانتقالية وتحقيقها يحتاج إلى تضافر الجهود الداخلية للمجتمعات وعلى عناصر المصالحة والاعتراف والتعويض وجبر الضرر، بنيت الدراسة علي فرضيات أبرزها: أن العنف المجتمعي وعنف الدولة يهدد الأمن الجماعي لبعض الدول الإفريقية نسبة لهشاشة تلك الدول، ونبعت أهمية الدراسة في إبراز دور العدالة الانتقالية في تحقيق الاستقرار السياسي والاجتماعي لبعض البلدان الإفريقية، هدفت الدراسة للتعرف على دور لجان المصالحة والتحقيق في ترسيخ السلم والخروج من دائرة النزاع إلي السلام، وقد اتبعت الدراسة المنهج التاريخي والتحليلي والوصفي والمنهج المقارن، وخرجت بعدة نتائج أهمها: تشكل العدالة الانتقالية مرحلة مفصلية في التاريخ السياسي لبعض البلدان التي عاشت صراعات سياسية أو نزاعات مسلحة أو حروب من اجل البحث عن بديل لهذه المرحلة والوصول لتأسيس الدولة القانونية وخلصت الدراسة إلى عدة توصيات أبرزها، استشراف عهد جديد بناءً على ذلك التوافق بين مكوناته المختلفة وهو امر تقوم به المؤسسات الاجتماعية في النظام الجديد عبر التبشير باشراقات المستقبل الجديد ونبذ حالات الماضي البغيض.
The study addressed the concept of transitional justice as a term for achieving stability, accountability and peace for post-conflict societies. The problem of the study was that the concept of transitional justice and its implementation required the concerted internal efforts of societies and the elements of interest, recognition, compensation and reparations. The study basedon main assumptions, most notably: that social and state violence threaten the collective security of some African countries due to the fragility of those countries. The importance of the study stems from highlighting the role of transitional justice in achieving political and social stability for some African countries. The study aimed to identify the role of the reconciliation committees and to investigate peace consolidation and exit from the circle of conflict to peace. The study followed the historical, analytical, descriptive and comparative approach, and came up with several results, the most important of them were: Transitional justice is a decisive stagein the political history of some countries that have experienced political or armed conflicts or wars in order to findsome alternative choices to this stage and to reach the establishment of the legal state. The study concluded several recommendations, most prominent is the issue of a new era is being seen, therefore, by the compatibility of its various components, which is being done by social institutions in the new system by preaching the new future and rejecting instances of the abominable cases of the past.
