تهدف هذه الدراسة والتي بعنوان (مفهوم الديمقراطية( إلى بيان الوعي الثقافي بمفاهيم الديمقراطية ودورها في إصلاح المجتمع وكان سبب اختياري لهذا الموضوع باعتبار الديمقراطية من القضايا المعاصرة التي تستحق الدراسة والتمحيص وتمثل مشكلة البحث في كيفية المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي واقتضت طبيعة البحث أن اقسمه إلى ثلاثة مباحث حيث كان عنوان المبحث الأول، مفهوم الديمقراطية ونشأتها وخصائصها وأهميتها، أما المبحث الثاني تحت عنوان (صور الديمقراطية) وجاء المبحث الثالث بعنوان (العلاقة بين الديمقراطية والحرية والمساواة والشورى). وكانت أهم النتائج إن الديمقراطية تساهم في حل المعضلات التي تواجه المجتمع إذا تم فهمها فهماً صحيحاً، حيث كانت أهم التوصيات بأن نوصي كل الأجيال بالاهتمام بالديمقراطية كأحد الأساليب الراقية في حسم القضايا المعاصرة ولا سيما عند الخلاف وختاماً ذيل البحث بفهرسة المصادر والمراجع.
This study that entitled “The concept of Democracy” aims at the clarification of cultural consciousness, with democracy concepts and its role in mending the society. The researcher has chosen this topic because democracy is one of the recent issues that deserves studying. The problem of the study centres on the right meaning of democracy. The researcher adopted the inductive analytical approach. The nature of the research obliged the researcher to divide it into three chapters. The first is entitled “The Concept of Democracy, its Origination, Characteristics, and Importance”. The second is entitled “The Types of Democracy”. The third is: “The Relation between Democracy, Freedom Equality, and Consultation”. The most important result of the study is that democracy contributes in solving the problems that the society faces; if it is correctly understood. The researcher then, recommends that all generations should care for democracy as the most currect issue particularly in conflicts. At the end a list of references is jot down.
