Following Algeria's independence, different legal statuses of the press coexisted. The objective of this study is to describe the overcoming by power of this situation inherited from colonization. The methodological approach envisaged is of a historical type recomposing the different frameworks of State intervention, from the nationalization of colonial titles to the eradication of the communist press. The resulting unification of the status of the press is the first step towards the emergence of a national public press. Au lendemain de l’indépendance de l’Algérie, différents statuts juridiques de la presse coexistaient. L’objectif de cette étude est de décrire le dépassement par le pouvoir de cette situation héritée de la colonisation. La démarche méthodologique envisagée est de type historique recomposant les différents cadres de l’intervention de l’État, de la nationalisation des titres coloniaux à l’éradication de la presse communiste. L’unification du statut de la presse, qui en découle, est le premier pas vers l’émergence d’une presse publique nationale. |
