| 520 | |b To resolve disputes, a conventional judicial and administrative framework was initially established. However, as economic activities evolved, including related disputes, this framework became inadequate, especially for banking disputes, due to their unique nature stemming from the distinctiveness of banking operations and stakeholders involved. This deficiency prompted the Algerian legislature to institute specialized judicial mechanisms under Law 22/13. This legislation established specialized commercial courts dedicated to handling intricate economic disputes, notably banking disputes, alongside commercial divisions. It also outlined specific procedures before these entities, emphasizing the importance of alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and the safeguards they offer to dispute parties. | ||
