لقد هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن الدور الاجتماعي للمؤسسات الشرطية في الوقاية من الجريمة وتقديم تجارب ودروس لبعض الدول في مجال الوقاية من الجريمة واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي باعتباره الأنسب لطبيعة هذه الدارسة، وتوصلت هذه الدراسة إلى ضرورة الاعتماد على البرامج الإعلامية الشرطية في تشجيع أفراد المجتمع على التعاون مع المؤسسات الشرطية، وتوفير البيانات والمعلومات عن الحوادث الشرطية واتخاذ التدابير والإجراءات اللازمة لزيادة فاعلية مشاركة المجتمع ومؤسساته في مكافحة الجريمة. والاهتمام بالتدريب من أجل الرفع من مستوى كفاءة الأجهزة الأمنية، والمشاركة في صنع القرار الأمني، وعقد الندوات والمؤتمرات التي يلتقي فيها المسئولين بالأجهزة الشرطية مع الرؤساء والعاملين بالمؤسسات الاجتماعية، لعرض أهم القضايا الشرطية لبناء جسور المشاركة في الوقاية ونشر روح العلاقات والإنسانية بينهم وإزالة العوائق والعقبات بين أفراد المجتمع والمؤسسات الشرطية، والعمل على تعزيز دور الأسرة في تنمية روح التعاون بأبنائها مع رجال الأمن وتحسين صورتهم، وتشجيعهم على التعاون كواجب ديني ووطني والعمل على تطوير أساليب التصدي في عمليات المشاركة لبناء جسور الثقة بين المسئولين بالمؤسسة الشرطية والاجتماعية وتحفيزهم وحثهم على المشاركة لتحقيق فاعليتها.
The current study aimed to reveal the social role of police institutions in crime prevention and to provide experiences and lessons for some countries in the field of crime prevention. The researcher used the descriptive approach as it is most appropriate to the nature of this study. This study concluded that it is necessary to rely on police media programs to encourage members of society to Cooperate with Police institutions, providing data and information on police incidents and taking the necessary measures and procedures to increase the effectiveness of community participation and its institutions in combating crime. Paying attention to training in order to raise the level of efficiency of the security services, participating in security decision-making, and holding seminars and conferences in which officials of the police services meet with the chiefs. And workers in social institutions, to present the most important police issues to build bridges of participation in prevention, spread the spirit of relations and humanity among them, remove barriers and obstacles between members of society and police institutions, and work to strengthen the role of the family in developing the spirit of cooperation among its children with security men and improve their image, and encourage them to cooperate as a religious and national duty and work. On Developing response methods in participation processes to build bridges of trust between officials in the police and social institutions and motivante and urge them to participate to achieve its effectiveness.
