|a يتناول هذا البحث "موقف الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية من الحرب اليونانية الأولى 1944-1945م)"، فلقد كانت هذه الحرب نتيجة للصراع بين اليسار واليمين، وقد ظهرت أول علامات الحرب الأهلية أثناء الاحتلال الألماني لليونان، والذي تمثل في عدم قدرة الحكومة اليونانية في المنفى على التأثير في الأوضاع في الوطن، مما أدى إلى ظهور فصائل المقاومة المختلفة ذات الانتماءات السياسية المختلفة، وكان أكثرها ظهورًا جبهة التحرير الوطني -وذراعها العسكري جيش التحرير الشعبي اليوناني- التي كان يسيطر عليها الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني، وكانت هذه الحرب بدايات نزاعات الحرب الباردة. وسوف نتناول في هذا البحث النقاط التالية: الولايات المتحدة والأهمية الاستراتيجية لليونان، والولايات المتحدة واليونان قبل الحرب العالمية الثانية، والولايات المتحدة والحرب الأهلية اليونانية.
|b This article examines the "US position on the First Hellenic War (1944-1945)". This war was the result of the conflict between the left and the right. The first signs of civil war appeared during the German occupation of Greece, which was represented by the inability of the Greek government in exile to influence the situation in the homeland, which led to the emergence of various resistance factions with different political affiliations, the most prominent of which was the National Liberation Front and its military arm, the Greek People's Liberation Army - which was controlled by the Greek Communist Party. This war was the first of the Cold War conflict, In this research, we will discuss the following points: the United States and the strategic importance of Greece, the United States and Greece before World War II, the United States and the Greek Civil War.
