|a تناولت الدراسة أثر قياس مؤشر الحرية الاقتصادية في جذب الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر في مصر خلال الفترة 1995 إلى 2022 وذلك من خلال قياس متوسط المؤشرات الأساسية الأربعة للحرية الاقتصادية، وهم: مؤشر سيادة القانون، مؤشر حجم الحكومة، مؤشر الكفاءة التنظيمية، ومؤشر انفتاح الأسواق. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن هناك علاقة معنوية- إحصائية -بين مؤشرات الحرية الاقتصادية وصافي الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر في الآجل الطويل، حيث أوضح النموذج أن الارتفاع في مؤشر سيادة القانون بنسبة 1% يترتب عليه زيادة صافي الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر بنسبة 0.1، كما يترتب على التحسن في مؤشر حجم الحكومة بنسبة 1% زيادة صافي الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر بنسبة 2.5%، وبالمثل فإن التحسن في مؤشر الكفاءة التنظيمية يعمل على زيادة صافي الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر بنسبة 1.6%، وأخيرا فإن التحسن في مؤشر انفتاح الأسواق سيعمل على زيادة صافي الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر بنسبة 1.4%. كما توصلت الدراسة إلى أن جميع المتغيرات المستقلة جاءت غير معنوية في الأجل القصير، باستثناء متغير مؤشر حجم الحكومة، حيث اتضح أن مؤشر حجم الحكومة وما يحويه من مؤشرات فرعية، تشتمل على (العبء الضريبي والإنفاق الحكومي والصحة المالية) هو المؤشر الوحيد الذي يؤثر في صافي الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر في الأجل القصير.
|b The study examined the impact of measuring the economic freedom index in attracting foreign direct investment in Egypt during the period 1995 to 2022, by measuring the average of the four basic indicators of economic freedom, which are: the rule of law index, the size of government index, the regulatory efficiency index, and the market openness index. The study found that there is a significant - statistical - relationship between indicators of economic freedom and net foreign direct investment in the long term, as the model showed that an increase in the rule of law index by 1% results in an increase in net foreign direct investment by 0.1, as does an improvement in the index Size of government by 1% Increase net foreign direct investment by 2.5%, Likewise, an improvement in the regulatory efficiency index will increase net foreign direct investment by 1.6%, and finally, an improvement in the market openness index will increase net foreign direct investment by 1.4%. The study also found that all independent variables were non-significant in the short term, with the exception of the government size index variable, as it became clear that the government size index and the sub-indices it contains, which include (tax burden, government spending, and financial health) is the only indicator that affects the net Foreign direct investment in the short term.
