المستخلص: هذا البحث بيان لأثر الفقيه أحمد بن يحيى بن عطوة في نشر المذهب الحنبلي في نجد، وقد اشتمل البحث على: مقدمة ومبحثين وعدة مطالب، ومن أهداف البحث: التعريف بالشيخ أحمد بن عطوة الحنبلي، وبيان أثر الشيخ أحمد بن عطوة في نشر المذهب الحنبلي في نجد منهج البحث: استقرائي، استنباطي، تحليلي، ومن أهم نتائج البحث: أن الشيخ أحمد بن عطوة يعد أبرز فقهاء الحنابلة في عصره، وكان المرجع في فقه الحنابلة في نجد، درس الشيخ أحمد بن عطوة على يد الحنابلة في الشام وأهمهم محقق المذهب الحنبلي المرداوي، ويعد الشيخ أحمد بن عطوة من مجتهدي المذهب الحنبلي، أن تدريس المذهب الحنبلي وإصدار الفتاوى وفقا لقواعد المذهب الحنبلي من أهم جهود الشيخ في نشر المذهب.

This research discusses the influence of jurist Ahmed bin Yahya bin Atwa in spreading the Hanbali school of thought in Najd. The research includes: an introduction, two topics, and several points. The research aims to introduce Sheikh Ahmed bin Atwa Al-Hanbali, and to point out Sheikh Ahmed bin Atwa’s efforts in spreading the Hanbali school of thought in Najd. The research approaches includes the inductive, deductive and analytical approach. One of the most important findings of the research is that Sheikh Ahmed bin Atwa is considered the most prominent Hanbali jurist of his time and he was the reference in Hanbali jurisprudence in Najd. Sheikh Ahmed bin Atwa benefitted from the Hanbalis in the Levant, the most important of whom was the Hanbali scholar Al-Mardawi. In addition, he is considered one of the extinguished scholars of the Hanbali school of thought. Teaching the Hanbali school of thought and issuing fatwas according to the rules of the Hanbali school of thought are among the Sheikh’s most important efforts in spreading this school of thought.
