المستخلص: التربية البيئية هي عملية يكتسب فيها الأفراد الوعي ببيئتهم ويحصلون على المعرفة والمهارات والخبرات والقيم التي تمكنهم من العمل- فرديا وجماعيا- لحل المشكلات البيئية الحالية والمستقبلية. ويعزز التعليم البيئي مهارات التفكير النقدي وحل المشكلات ومهارات اتخاذ القرار الفعال ويعلم الأفراد الموازنة بين الجوانب المختلفة للقضية البيئية لاتخاذ قرارات مستنيرة ومسؤولة. ولما كان الفن والبيئة مشتركان في مخاطبة العقل والمشاعر، كان الناتج هو مصطلح الفن البيئي وهو حركة يتنبناها فنانون من مختلف التخصصات يستلهمون أعمالهم من الطبيعة أو يستخدمونها كمادة خام للتعبير عن جمالها والتشجيع على الاهتمام بها. ظهر نهج الفن البيئي في نهاية الستينيات وهو يفعل أكثر من مجرد تصوير المناظر الطبيعية أو تضمين البيئة في إبداعاته، ويشمل ثلاثة أهداف رئيسية وهي: ۱) رفع مستوى الوعي بالمخاطر التي تواجه كوكب الأرض وتعزيز الحفاظ عليه، ۲) تشجيع التواصل وإشراك المواطنين لحماية الطبيعية، ۳) تحفيز قادة الرأي بمكافحة ظاهرة الاحتباس الحراري وتأثيرها. وتعد ظاهرة تغير المناخ وما يرتبط بها من تلوث الهواء والمحيطات والاحتباس الحراري وإزالة الغابات من بين الموضوعات التي يتناولها الفن البيئي المعاصر من خلال التصوير الفوتوغرافي والرسم والنحت والدراما. ويتسبب تغير المناخ في أضرار بالغة الخطورة على ما يقرب من مليار طفل حول العالم ويعاني هؤلاء الأطفال إلى النمو في عالم متزايد الخطورة وأزمات تهدد صحتهم وتغذيتهم وتعليمهم ونموهم وبقائهم ومستقبلهم. لهذا السبب، استعانت الدراسة بفن التصوير كأداة لزيادة وعي النشء بخطورة قضايا تغير المناخ مثل التلوث والاحتباس الحراري مع مراعاة البعد استخدام أساليب الخوف والترهيب حتى لا يتعرض الأطفال لصدمات تهدد علاقاتهم بالبيئة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى ضرورة إدراج قضايا التغير المناخي في مناهج الفنون حتى يدرس مع مفاهيم علوم المناخ الأخرى.

Environmental education is a process in which individuals acquire awareness of their environment and acquire knowledge, skills, experiences and values that enable them to work – individually and collectively – to solve current and future environmental problems. Environmental education enhances critical thinking, problem solving and effective decision- making skills and teaches individuals to balance different aspects of the environmental issue to make informed and responsible decisions. Since art and the environment are involved in addressing the mind and feelings, the result was the term environmental art, a movement adopted by artists from various disciplines who draw inspiration from nature or use it as a raw material to express its beauty and encourage interest in it. The approach of environmental art appeared at the end of the Sixties and does more than just depict landscapes or include the environment in his creations, it includes three main goals: 1) raise awareness of the risks facing the planet and promote its conservation, 2) encourage communication and involve citizens to protect the natural, 3) motivate opinion leaders by combating global warming and its impact. Climate change and its associated air and ocean pollution, global warming and deforestation are among the topics addressed by contemporary environmental art through photography, painting, sculpture and drama. Climate change is causing extremely serious damage to almost a billion children around the world and these children are struggling to grow up in an increasingly dangerous world with crises threatening their health, nutrition, education, growth, survival and future. For this reason, the study used the art of photography as a tool to increase the awareness of young people about the seriousness of climate change issues such as pollution and global warming, taking into account the dimension of using fear and intimidation methods so that children are not exposed to shocks that threaten their relationships with the environment. The study concluded that climate change issues should be included in the arts curriculum in order to be studied with other climate science concepts.
