ان الضبط الجيد للأزياء هدف رئيسى يسعى اليه كل من يقوم بالتشكيل على المانيكان مع تحقيق حرية الحركة للجسم وفى نفس الوقت تتميز هذه الازياء بالاتساع والوضع المناسب للوظيفة والاداء المطلوب للزى فى جميع أجزائه. وملابس السهرة من الأزياء التى ينبغى أن تكون محكمه الضبط وألا يكون بها أخطاء وتكون محكمة الصنع جيدة الانسدال على الجسم. وغالبا ما تحتاج ملابس السهرة فى اعدادها الى دعامات فى بعض المناطق لتحقيق الشكل المطلوب ومن أهمها النهادات (الكبات) وهى تستخدم لتحقيق التدعيم اللازم لمنطقة الصدر وذلك بغرض تحقيق الضبط والتصميم تبعا للموضة السائدة. ومن خلال عمل الباحثتين فى تدريس مادة تصميم الأزياء والتطبيقات التشكيلية على المانيكان للفرقة الرابعة شعبة الملابس والنسيج بكلية الاقتصاد المنزلى جامعة المنوفية، جامعة الأزهر اتضح ظهور بعض المشكلات فى استعمال بعض الكبات منها عدم الضبط وكذلك عدم المطابقة ممادعى الباحثتان الى عمل دراسة لمعظم أنواع الكبات المتواجدة فى السوق المصرية للوقوف على خصائص كل منها لإمكانية وضع حلول مقترحة لإعداد (كب) عن طريق التشكيل على المانيكان باستخدام خامات مختلفة مثل (الجلد – الاسفنج – الفارساليا – الفانهوزن) لإعداد كبات بواسطة تشكيل باترون جيد على المانيكان باستخدام الخامات السابقة لتحقيق التدعيم الكافى وبتصميمات مختلفة لتحقيق الشكل المطلوب (للكب) وللتغلب على المشكلات الموجودة فى (الكب) الجاهز وقد توصل البحث الى أن أداء الكب يتأثر باختلاف الخامة المصنوع منها وشكل قصته بأكثر مما يتأثر بشكل التصميم.
