تهدف الدراسة للتعرف على أثر النوع والصف والتفاعل بينهما على درجة طلبة الثانوية العامة على مقياس المهارات الاجتماعية، التعرف على أثر مستوى تعليم الأب ومستوى تعليم الأم على درجة طلبة الثانوية العامة على مقياس المهارات الاجتماعية، وتحديد العلاقة بين المهارات الاجتماعية والسلوك التوكيدي، والعلاقة بين المهارات الاجتماعية والصلابة النفسية (الأبعاد والدرجة الكلية )، وتحديد حجم إسهام المهارات الاجتماعية في التنبؤ بالسلوك التوكيدي لدى طلبة الثانوية العامة، حجم إسهام المهارات الاجتماعية في التنبؤ بالصلابة النفسية لدى طلبة الثانوية العامة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من 376 طالبا من طلبة الثانوية العامة منهم 197 ذكور، 179 من الإناث بالصفوف الثلاث من الأول إلى الثالث، متوسط أعمارهم 16.96 عامل بانحراف معياري قدره 1.12، طبق عليهم مقاييس المهارات الاجتماعية والصلابة النفسية وتوكيد الذات وأسفرت الدراسة عن وجود دلالة لتأثير الجنس والصف على بعض أبعاد المهارات الاجتماعية، لا يوجد أثر لمستوى تعليم الأب والأم على تباين درجات المهارات الاجتماعية لدى طلبة الثانوية العامة، يوجد ارتباط بين درجات المهارات الاجتماعية (الأبعاد والدرجة الكلية) والصلابة النفسية (الأبعاد والدرجة الكلية) ، كما يوجد ارتباط بين درجات المهارات الاجتماعية (الأبعاد والدرجة الكلية) وتوكيد الذات، كما اتضح أن المهارات الاجتماعية تسهم بنسبة 10 % من تباين درجات السلوك التوكيدي، وبنسبة 24 % من التنبؤ بالصلابة النفسية، وفي ضوء النتائج قدم الباحث عدداً من التوصيات. \
This study aimed to find the impact of gender and class and the interaction between them on the high school students on the degree of social skills, as well as to identity the impact of the level of education of parents (father and mother) on the degree of high school students on the scale of social skills. It is also, tried to determine the relationship between social skills and the assertive behaviour and the relationship between social skills and psychological strength (dimension and total score). It is determined the size of the contribution of social skills in predicting the assertive behaviour to the high school students, the size of the contribution of social skills in predicting the assertive behaviour on the high school students . The study population included 376 high school students ( 197 males and 179 females) in the first three classes from one to three, their average ages is 16.96, with standard deviation of 1.12 applied to them the measures of social skills, psychological strength and self-assertion. The study resulted in a significant indication of the impact of gender and class on some dimensions of social skills, there is no trace of the level of education of the father and mother on the varying degrees of the social skills on the high school students, there is a link between the degrees of the social skills(dimensions and the total score) and psychological strength (dimensions and total score) and there is a link between the degrees of social skills(dimensions and to total score) and self -assertion, as it turns out that the social skills contribute 10% from the varying degrees of assertive behaviour, and by 24% from predicting of psychological strength. And on the light of the results the researcher presented a number of recommendations. \
