لقد تطور علم الأصوات في السنوات الأخيرة تطوراً سريعاٌ وملحوظاٌ، وذلك نتيجة التطور الهائل في الأجهزة الإلكترونية والتطور الهائل في مجالات التصوير بالأشعة، وجهود العلماء المخلصين، ومع هذا كله فقد بقى علم الأصوات بكراٌ، فيه مرتع خصيب، وميدان واسع لكثير من البحوث الجادة. لكن قام علماؤنا الأوائل بتسطير صفحات مشرقة في هذا المجال، دون أن يعتمدوا على أجهزة إلكترونية، بل إعتمدوا أحاسيسهم المرهفة، وسجاياهم الخلاقة.ومن دراساتهم هي دراسة فسيولوجية الأصوات التي حظيت بمجهود كبير من العلماء نحو كتاب"الكتاب" لسيبويه، وكتاب" سر صناعة الإعراب" لابن جنّي و"القانون" لابن سينا. ولعل من أهم المراجع في هذا المجال هو كتاب أو رسالة أسباب حدوث الحروف لابن سينا.وعلى الرغم من أن ابن سينا قد تحدث عن فِيزياء الصوت وفسيولوجية الكلام والسمع في بعض كتبه كالقانون في الطب، الشفاء وغيرهما، وعرض في رسالته "أسباب حدوث الحروف "، الجوانب الفسيولوجية والفيزيائية للصوت بشكل عام وللأصوات العربية وبعض الأصوات الفارسية بشكل خاص. هذه المقالة قد وقفت على آراء الفيلسلوف الكبير في اللغة وفي أدق فروعها ألا وهو فسيولوجية الأصوات ولعل المحدثين لم ينتبهوا كثيرا لهذا الكتاب لأن مؤلفه لم يكن من علماء اللغة إذ هو فيلسوف وطبيب معروف.
Science of the phonemes has improved dranaficly and quickly as result of huge changes and developmentsof electroniced devices, scan imaging, computer scienc and also attempts of sincere scientistsNonthelees, science of phonemes and phonetics have remained origined and undisturbed and also thereare extersive fields for useful discussions in the context.Primary scientesiet have submitted shing and honorable pages in related subjects, however, they had not been reliant to any electronical devices(linstrunents).In fact, they were relied on their particular feedings and innate innovation.Among this researches, investigatin phonemes physiology has attended by many consulfors including Sibevayh in the book of "Alketab", Ibn jeni in book of" Sere senat alerab" and Ibn sina in the book of "Ghanoon". The book of "Asbab alhodoos alhoroof" Ibn sina may be the most important resources in the mentioned fields.As Ibn sina in so books like" Ghanoon", the book of"Shafa" and other his works has talked based on physiced aspects of phoneme and physiologiced of speech hearing, but all physiological and physical sides of phonemes demonstrated either general forms for Arabian phonemes or special forms for some Persian phonemes.This research is considered at study the opinions of this great philosopher in linguistic fields and in the physiology of phoneme, one of the most precise branches.While contemprory scientists may not have attended to this book because the author is not only one of the linguistic scientists but also is the formost philosopher and physician.
