يلاحظ من خلال واقع حياة المسلمين العملية. قصور في أداء الواجبات فضلا عن المستحبات. وهذا يدل على وجود خلل في الهمم، سواء من حيث التطلع إلى طلب المعالي، أو بمسابقة الأخيار في الخيرات. ولعل ذلك راجع إلى تفاوت عزيمة الانفس ومقدار صبرها وصرامتها على تحمل مشاق إنجاز المهمات، وقد قيل: من علت همته طال همه، ويعد العزم لكونه من أرقى الأخلاق أساس الانطلاق والنشاط والاندفاع إلى تحقيق مصالح الدين والدنيا. وقاعدة الطموح والتطلع إلى الأعلى. وإذا كان مقرونا بالعلم والعقل والحكمة. كانت التصرفات مع الأوامر والنواهي حكيمة نافعة. وحين تكون العزيمة ضعيفة أو مجردة عن العلم والعقل والحكمة. فإن التصرفات تتبعها في النتائج، فما غفلت النفوس عن مراقبة الله واسترسلت وراء مطامعها، واستصغرت القيم. وسمو النفوس، واسترخصت حياة العز والإباءة. وما قتل طموح الشباب وهممهم إلا ذوبان العزم إن لم يكن معدوما. وما توانى أهل الدعوة إلا سبب فتور العزم، وكان من أعظم انقطاع الشيوخ عن مواصلة سير رحلة الطاعة فيما تبقى من العمر ضعف العزم، وما اكتفى الموهنون من طلب المزيد من خيري الدنيا والآخرة إلا بسبب سوء نظرهم إلى العزم.
This research focuses on the notifications found in Moslems’ practical life; the declining of performing their duties, and responsibilities. Accordingly, this affects their desirability. This indicates that there is a defect in their understandings and determination either in aim to look up to sublimity by being satisfied by the least and replacing the least for the best or by competing with those who are considered well-doers of good deeds. This might be due to the dissimilarities in resolution of persons and the amount of their of their patience and acuteness in bearing hardships in performing duties as it has been said that before that:’Those who seek sublimity their worries last because a mundane world is a place of strive. Resolution is considered one of the highest types of morals since it is the foundation of activities, drive and beginning of fulfilling the good of life religion. It is also considered the basis of ambitiousness and searching for knowledge, mindedness and wisdom to make the behavior with the do’s and don’ts, and useful as wise in accordance with Allah’s wisdom. For example, the power of determination, manness, magnanimity, noble mindedness, generosity. But when resolution is weak or unknowledgeable, unminded and unwise, accordingly that is reflected in behavior. Persons would not have been away from Allah’s watch and would not run behind life’s good things and temptations, and be little morals standards. This killed ambitiousness in youth which is almost not found in their behaviors. It became weak in those who should work for spreading noble morals, and advise people all over the world. It also caused sheikhs to stop their duties in continuing their journey of obeying in the remaining mundane days of their life. It is the weakness of their resolution and pessimism that causes the persons to ask for more of the goods of life and the hereafter. Peace be upon Muhammad.
