المستخلص: Al-Shaikh Abd Al-Munaam Al- Fartussie is one of famous poets of Iraq and Al-Najaf Al-Aashraf city .He was born in "Al-Raqassa village " in Al-Emara city south of Iraq in 1917, but he brought up in Al-Najaf Al-Aashraf city , and dead in UAE in 1983 and burried in Najaf Al-Aashraf city . He had had great effect in literature and society. He had expressed about him self that was very soft so that his poetry was romantic in it's imagination . The themes of his poetry were about famous men in history like the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), Imam Ali and his son Imam Hussain (pbut) , great battles and war's like karbalaa battle and second world war, nature, love and beauty was the favorite themes in his poetry . Many of his poems was long and popular that it's available in his divan that divided into to parts.
