On the contrary, mingling in public settings in which opposite genders could directly interact is allowed within the limits of Islamic permissibility. 7- Women are eligible for public authority’s position over women only, as well as for limited and non-public ones. 8- Women are ineligible for holding any public authority’s position; whether to be the presidency of the state, Supreme Court, ministry, mayor of the city, membership in parliament or senate, not even an executive director for an Islamic movement, or whatever is considered public authority. As needed, women can establish their own sections or departments within the general assembly of the Islamic movement for instance.
