|b The research deals with two aspects that have effect on the asceticism of Abul- Atahiya. \ The first aspect: the opinions upon the asceticism Ali-Atahiya that the ancient scholars introduced, the distinguished feature of these opinions is that they refused the asceticism of Abil-Atahiya, suspect it, and considered him a theist and unbeliever, and that his asceticism was just a legend to deceive scholars and people. Most of the modern scholars agreed on the opinions of the ancient scholars and depend on them without discussing them to know its correctness. The research discussed these opinions, showing their error or mistake.\ The second aspect: exhibiting some of the ascetical poetry of Abil-Atahiya and studying texts of it to show the pure ascetical philosophy depending on the Holy Quran, where the researcher found that Abil-Atahiya's ascetical opinions are taken from the Holy Quran, and revealed that Abil-Atahiya had read the Holy Quran and understand its ascetical philosophy, so the researcher disproved the previous opinions and proved his honesty and religious commitment.
