The Prophet Life was a source of motivation for early Muslims to be gathered and writer down while paying special attention to splitting the correct piece of information. According ibn Hisham , the noble life of prophet , as is the case with Holy Quran , has been of special care throughout ages. As volumes have been completed in the interpretation of the Quran with special vision in every century, the life of prophet by ibn Hisham has as well witnessed a greet attention which comes next to the interest in the Holy Quran. Like other Maafra who opted for leaving Basrah , our scholar ibn Hisham departed of it after having his provision of knowledge from it and settled finally in Egypt because it had a specific stability in comparison to other islamic regions. Ibn Hisham had a greet respect among Muslim scholars and the way he was commented by those knowledgeable men shows his greet scholarship. The procedure of ibn Hisham in tracing the life of prophet is to start with the Holy Quran to follow the stages of this life. He made use of the eloquence and rhetoric of the Quran in depicting the character of the prophet. He also made use Arabic poetry the best way asserting the common saying that "poetry is record of the arabs". However, special attention has been paid in the research to what is considered an exaggeration as regards some enents and specially when figures. Ibn Hisham deals with the social life that mentioned in life of prophet and social life of early Muslims such as the way they eat, drink and how they mix. |
