هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى: - التعرف على أسباب التسرب من كلية التربية/المهرة. – التعرف على آثار التسرب وانعكاساته السلبية على الفرد والمجتمع. – التعرف على المعالجات التي تحد من هذا التسرب ومدى نجاحها. اعتمد هذا البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي للمعلومات والبيانات التي استقاها الباحث من خلال الإجابات على أداة الاستبيان، ومن خلال المراجع التي اطلع عليها الباحث ومن أهمها تتبع سير عملية القبول والتسجيل سنوياً في الكلية منذ تأسيسها. وأهم النتائج التي توصل إليها الباحث هي: في مجال معرفة أسباب التسرب منها:- أسباب اقتصادية، - أسباب اجتماعية وأسرية، - أسباب جامعية – أسباب تعود للطالب نفسه.. وفي مجال معرفة آثار التسرب وانعكاساته السلبية على الفرد والمجتمع منها:- تأخر المجتمع عن ركب التقدم الحضاري والعلمي – المضار الاقتصادية للتسرب – يتيح للطالب وقتاً طويلاً من الفراغ لا يحسن الاستفادة منه – يكون ضاراً بالمتسرب نتيجة اختلاطه برفاق السوء – يؤدي إلى انتشار البطالة – يؤدي إلى فاقد اقتصادي مادي والهدر المالي والبشري مما يربك الخطط المستقبلية للتنمية الشاملة. وفي مجال المعالجات التي تحد من ظاهرة التسرب منها:- إبراز أهمية التعليم للفرد والمجتمع – تطوير المناهج بحيث تصبح ملبية لحاجات الطالب – الاهتمام باستخدام طرق التدريس المناسبة – تطوير نظام التقويم والبحث عن أساليب مناسبة – تطوير كفاءة أعضاء هيئة التدريس بإعدادهم الإعداد الجيد – العمل على التخطيط السليم الذي يضع في الاعتبار معالجة مشكلات التسرب وانعكاساتها على التنمية البشرية، والإنفاق. \
This study aims at identifying the reasons for the dropout of students from the College of Education in Almahrah, identifying the effects of the dropout and its negative influences on individuals and community, and identifying the treatments that can reduce this dropout and the extent of their success. The study is based on descriptive analytical approach to the information and data obtained by the researcher through questionnaires, and other resources that the researcher had an access to. The most important is tracking the process of admission and registration annually in the college since its establishment. The study concluded that this phenomenon is likely to be caused by financial factors, social and family-related factors, university-related, and factors related to the students themselves. In terms of dropouts' influences, the study concluded that the community fails to follow the latest scientific and cultural developments. In addition, dropouts have some financial damages. For example, students have long periods of leisure time wherein they have no useful work to do, leading to increased unemployment which in turn leads to economical loss and financial losses which disrupt future plans for overall development. Dropouts may also socialize with bad individuals. The study concluded with a number of solutions that can reduce the rate of dropucts. It highlights the importance of education for individuals and the community, improving curricula in order to satisfy the student's needs, using suitable teaching methods, developing a viable system and search for suitable procedures, improving the competence of faculty staff through good training methods, and working on the right planning which takes into consideration solving the dropout problems and their effects on the human development and the disbursement. \
