520 |b Department of Geography " Study area is located in south-western part of Basra province and occupies the south-eastern part of the plateau of western Iraq, and constitute latitudes (29.9o - 30.43o) and north along the litigant (46.30o - 47.55o) eastward Borders and occupies an area of astronomical amount (10060 km2) of the area of Basra Governorate amounting (19070 km2).
