المستخلص: The first half of the twentieth century witnessed the first signs of an active rapid intellectual movement in Najaf, as being one of the major Islamic cities whose scientific schools has graduated a great number of leading Jurists and Islamic authorities (Mujtahid) and the unique of the scholars and reformers. Most of its scholars mastered different intellectual and traditional sciences. Al- Sheikh Abdul-Kareem Al-zanjani was one of those scholars and he was one of the important figures of that school at his time. His efforts and knowledge were diverse, his works were a lot and his cultural participation were unique in away that they became very popular regionally and internationally. Considering that as a starting point, the study of such personality became a major necessary in order to place it in a suitable rank and to inspire its reformer visions within the limits of the scientific approach of the research. Thos study came into an introduction, three sections and a conclusion. The first chapter dealt briefly with his biography, family and scientific rank.. While the second of it went through a number of his works and showed its importance, rank and its various intentions. Al-Zanjani dealt with number of subjects in his books and comments that ranged from Jurisprudence, interpretation, beliefs and theology. But he concentrated on philosophy showing high mental abilities and a wide knowledge that enabled him to combine between orientalism and modernity in his many works.
