Iraq witnesses the reoccurance of thunderstroms during the rainy season, extending from September to May. This study concentrated on the repetition of this phenomenon in eight meteorological stations that are distributed in most of the country regions for one diminutive period of twelve years which extends between (1991-2002) The research tackled and the factors that are responsible for causing this phenomenon and the peripheral whether accompanied to it. It also handled the special - temporal distribution to it and its two types, (rainy and unrainy thunderstorms). Baghdad station held the first position in the special distribution of the phenomenon for two types. Months of spring season held the first position in their reoccurance in comparison with' the other rainy months. The research also dealt with the proportion of the coverage of sky with clouds during the reoccurance of the rainy and unrainy thunderstorms and its temporal and special variation among the stations of study. Mosul station held the first grade concerning the sky coverage with the rainy thunderstorms in proportion ranged to (7-3) eights. Months of winter took up the first rank temporally. For the coverage of sky with the unrainy thunderstorms, Basrah station held the first grade in proportion of (6-3) eights whereas the month of winter and autaumn recorded the first grade temporally. \
