The present paper studies the role of "time" in the Jordanian novelist Samihah Khurais's novel (Al-Sahan-The Plate). The study has the view that the role of "time" in this novel has guided the work other elements through making the dimension of time lived by the novelist herself as a cover to all other elements in light of her view of the role of persons, places and the relations that linked these novelistic factors. The study considers time as the novel main topic from which the final image of the novelistic act emerged. |
