لقد تناول البحث في ثناياه محاولة من قبل الباحث للتأصيل لفرع جديد من علم النفس يخدم الجانب الأمني على غرار علم النفس العسكري. وقد هدف البحث إلى إرساء قواعد وأسس لبناء فرع جديد من فروع علم النفس التطبيقي، الذي يخدم مباشرة الفرد والمجتمع والمؤسسة الأمنية ويوفر غطاء مناسبا للحياة الأمنية على جميع الأصعدة والمجالات. وقد تبين من خلال البحث أن وجود علم نفس أمني قد كان من الأهمية لدرجة أنه أصبح حاجة ملحة لتغطي مختلف الأنشطة الأمنية عبر علوم النفس التي برزت الحاجة إليها من خلال الأهمية القصوى لهذا العلم لكونه يدخل في حياة الفرد والمجتمع والمؤسسة بشكل متلاصق ومتواصل. وقد ظهر ضرورة متابعة البحث في هذا المجال ومواصلته باعتبار أنه محاولة بسيطة من قبل الباحث لتضع المتخصصين على بداية الطريق لهذا العلم الذي بالتأكيد سوف يخدم مجالا واقعيا وعلميا في علم النفس.
Through this research, the researcher tried to establish new branch of psychology that could serve the security side similar to the military psychology. The goal of this research is to settling the bases of a new branch of the applied psychology that could be employed in the service of the individuals, society and security institution and save suitable cover for the security life on all the fields and levels. It was ascertained that the existence of security psychology science have great importance whereas it becomes a deed need to cover different security activities through the psychology science , the need for such science manifested because of its interrelation in the life of the individuals, society and security institution in a cohesive and continuous mode. The research illustrated the importance in continuing the research in this field as it is considered as a simple trial from the researcher to lay the bases for the specialists in this field and pave the way for further researches that certainly could serve a scientific and practical field in the psychology.
