الأعشى الكبير (ميمون بن قيس) من شعراء المستوى الأول في العصر الجاهلي- أقوى العصور تأثيرا في توجيه الشعر العربي إلى مشارف العصر الحديث- غير أنه يختلف عن سائر الشعراء الجاهليين بأنه كان كثير التطواف بين الأقطار: فارس والحيرة، والشام، وفلسطين، وقد استوعبت ذاكرته من صور الحضارة ولغات هذه الأقطار مما أضفى مذاقا خاصا لقصائده، وفضلا عن هذا فقد عاصر زمن الدعوة المحمدية، وتأهب للدخول فيها، ولكنه لم يدخل!! تختلف الأقوال في تفسير هذا النكوص، ولكنها تتفق على ظهور الأثر الروحي واللغوي لهذه الدعوة، ولعقائد العصر عامة في شعر الأعشى، وقد اتخذ هذا مدخلا للقول بزيف الشعر!! في هذه الدراسة ترصد خصوصية شعر الأعشى في تجلياتها اللغوية، والحضارية، والروحية، والفكرية، وتعاد إلى مرتكز أساسي واحد، من ثم تتوحد حتى تأخذ شكل الظاهرة، تتساند معطياتها تحت عنوان: "تجاوز ضفاف المألوف"، وهو ما لا يكون الشاعر مستحقا لصنعته إلا حين يتحقق له هذا التجاوز.
Ala’sha Al- Kabier (Maymoun Ben Qays) is one of the top caliber of the Gahily poets-the era most effective in directing Arabic poetry towards modernity. Ala’sha differs from all other Gahily poets in his frequent wandering in many countries, - such as Persia, Alhyra, Syria, and Palestine. During-his travels in these countries, he absorbed in his memory a lot of the images and languages associated with these countries. This poet was contemporary with the first Islamic era and was about to adopt the Islamic belief, but didn’t. There are different explanations for his reluctance. Neverthelrss, there is a common agreement about the characteristic features of his poetry, particularly the noticeable Islamic, spititual and cultural ones. This has been the basis for those who claim that his poetry is fake. This study provides a survey of the distinguishing aspects of Ala’sha poetry and its characteristic linguistic, spiritual and intellectual features, that together form a unique phenomenon. A special attention is given in this study to focusing on the unique aspects of the cultural, linguistic and intellectual particularities of his poems,which are all based on one foundation. All the above qualifies of his poetry can be rightly described as “Going Beyond What Is Common”.
