المستخلص: شغل المتنبي الناس بشعره قديماً وحديثاً، فاعتنوا بديوانه، وانكبوا عليه بالشرح والتحليل، وكان من مظاهر هذا الاهتمام أن شروحه فاقت الحد كماً ونوعاً، وكان ابن جني قد افتتح هذه الشروح بشرحه الكبير (الفسر)، ثم تعددت من بعده حتى أربت على الستين شرحا. وقد جاء هذا الشرح حافلا بالآراء اللغوية والنحوية والصرفية. لهذا سعيت في هذا البحث إلى تتبع هذه الآراء في مواضعها، بغية الوقوف على المنهج الذي ترسمه ابن جني ونزع إليه في شرحه.

Al - Mutanabi’s collected Poems, Diwan, drew the attention of many critics and readers, more than any other Arab poet, who competed to small letters Diwan and paraphrase it. Their concern with this Poetry made its paraphrases exceed the limit in quantity quality. lben kathir stated that there were more than sixty. These paraphrases were different in method and interest: linguistical, literary, and appreciative. Abu Al - Fateh lben Jini initiated these paraphrases with two paraphrases: "Al - Faser’”, which is concerned with the making of Al- Diwan and its meanings, and "Al Fateh Al Wahbi". dedicated to the problematic lines, lben Jini made it clear about his aim and method in paraphrasing Al-Mutanabi’s poetry. His peculiar paraphrasing was the original reading on which many drew for inspiration. It was so influential on later efforts in reading Al - Mutanabi’s poetry. This study deals with the peculiarities of this paraphrasing and the influence of lben Jini’s work on many later critics, students, and grammarians who dealt with poetic production of Mutanabi.
