تحتل مهنة التعليم المرتبة الأولى في الأهمية من حيث تأثيرها في تطوير المجتمعات فهي المهنة التي تعد أفراد المجتمع وتزودهم بالعلم والقيم والمهارات الحياتية ومهارات التفكير العليا ليصبح كل منهم عضواً فعالاً في المجتمع. ولا يكون هذا إلا بوجود المعلم الذي يعتبر محور العملية التعليمية ومن أهم عناصر النظام التربوى .كما أن للمعلم أثره الحيوى المهم فى العملية التعليمية فهو المنفذ الرئيسي للمنهج الدراسي والموجه والمرشد والقائد للطلاب في عمليات التعليم والتعلم والقائم على متابعة تحصيل الطلاب. ونظراً للتغيرات والتطورات المتلاحقة التي يشهدها عالم اليوم في الكثير من مجالات الحياة وفرضها مواصفات جديدة للطالب فقد تعددت مهام المعلم وتنوعت مسئولياته ووظائفه كل ذلك أدى إلى الاهتمام الكبير بإعداد المعلم الإعداد المهني اللازم وتطوير برامج المؤسسات التي تقوم بإعداده لتواكب المهام والوظائف الجديدة. ولضمان قيام المعلم بمهامه المنوط بها فقد تغيرت وتعددت المواصفات والخصائص والمهارات والمعارف التي يلزم أن يكتسبها للقيام بمهامه المنشودة وهذا بالتالي دعا إلى وضع معايير خاصة بالمعلم التي يتم بموجبها التأكد من امتلاك المعلم لهذه العناصر. وتمثل التربية الفنية بمجالاتها المختلفة إحدى الجوانب الرئيسية في بناء شخصية المتلقي وإكسابه مجموعة من المهارات التي تجعله متكيفاً مع بيئته وقادراً على متطلباتها المتغيرة وهي مهارات أساسية في التأهيل للعمل. ومن تلك المهارات التي يجب تنميتها هي تنمية روح الإبداع والابتكار الفكري لرفع القدرة التنافسية التي تمكن المعلم من التميز في عصر يتسم بالعولمة والتطورات التكنولوجية المتسارعة. ومع التطور العلمي والتكنولوجي الذي اجتاح العالم في الآونة الأخيرة حيث ظهرت خامات وتقنيات مستحدثة انعكست على شكل الفن وأسلوبه, ليس هذا فحسب بل امتد ذلك الأثر ليشمل الأبحاث والرسائل في الكثير من المجالات الفنية ومنها مجال طباعة المنسوجات اليدوية بالقوالب البارزة(موضوع هذا البحث) والتي تعتبر من أهم مستحدثات طرق الطباعة اليدوية التي تطبق في مجال التربية الفنية وتصلح للتطبيق في مجال التعليم العام. والبحث الحالي يقترح برنامج تدريبي لمعلم التربية الفنية في مجال طباعة المنسوجات اليدوية بالقوالب البارزة المستحدثة مثل(قوالب الشمع, القوالب الورقية, قوالب البولي فينيل كلورايد (PVC) لإستحداث أساليب وطرق أدائية جديدة تحقق جماليات خاصة وتقنيات متعددة والتي يتاح معها تحقيق قيم تشكيلية خاصة يتعين تطبيقاتها في مجال التعليم العام وذلك لتطوير العملية التعليمية وانعكاساتها في مرحلة التعليم قبل الجامعي. وذلك لإضافة مجموعة من الخبرات والمهارات للمعلم التي تنطلق من البرامج المقترحة في هذا البحث وتهدف إلى تنمية الكفايات التعليمية التربوية للمعلمين ورفع طاقاتهم الإنتاجية الحالية إلى حدها الأقصى وتأهيلهم لمواجهة ما يستحدث من تطورات تربوية وفنية وذلك من خلال التخطيط الإستراتيجي والتنفيذ الكيفي والتقويم المستمر انطلاقاً من متطلبات جودة التعليم المرجوة.
